The bike looks pretty cool! But just like with most bikes, the price tag is off-putting. Also not entirely sure about that bag ... it doesn't look like it would make it easy to carry at all.
At least it has a bag that you can get, which means that you could get it on the train to/from London as luggage!
I notice that bike is missing pedals... I had a dahon foldup once. It was a decent bike and packed fairly well, but the pedals, even tho they folded down, would always get hung up on the chain or something. The bike also didn't like to stay folded. It was ok, on it's own, but if you didn't hold both sides of the bike, gravity would open it back up. Unfortunate, really.
I have a Smooth Hound and I love it. It does come with great pop-off pedals (at least in the USA). It does not have a hinge so it is solid as a rock. Instead of folding it quickly becomes flat and compact by popping off the handlebar/stem, seatpost and pedals. Take off the front wheel and you have a really tiny package in just a few seconds. It rides like a real road bike. I have owned many Dahons and this one is far better than any of them, including the Speed Pro.
Would the Smooth Hound's design be suitably stable/stiff for towing my Ibex BoB trailer?
