We spend so many pixels attacking Hummers but look at who has the worst record of reducing CO2 emissions in Europe: DaimlerChrysler, now just Daimler. The EU wants significant reductions in CO2 by 2012 and they are not even going in the right direction. ::Economist

Well if they make it a law were they have to comply with making them more efficient. Tell the companies well you cant sell your vehicle here like California is trying to do but the Federal government EPA wont give them a waver.Like the recycled content laws there having so much problems with its the cooperate companies rich and greedy. When it actually saves them money in the long run.
I cant blame all the republicans cause Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger hes as strict as Al Gore. Its mostly Bush the president that could but wont care about popular opinion. Or any ones else's opinion.
I think Al Gore should take a look at his carbon footprint. His jet uses more fossil fuel then a HUMMER H2 does in one year!
Al Gore doesn't have a Jet. He flies commercial, and it's pretty obvious that all the flying he has done is more than compensated by all the reductions in carbon made by people, organizations and governments that heard his message.
