The highway-legal and fully electric Vectrix ZEV (zero-emissions vehicle) scooter, which retails for a cool $11,000, is now available from British Motor Cars throughout California, in addition to other locations across the country.

Folks who will be attending the Alternative Car and Transportation Expo in Santa Monica, from Oct 19 to 20, will also be able to try it this baby out for themselves. ::Vectrix

Reminicent of the early days of the internal combustion engine. The early motorcycles were very good 'test beds' for miniaturizing the machinery. These progressive Engineers have to really design the components to save weight and be reliable. Good Start. Of course I am a lifetime motorcycle rider so I am slightly prejudiced. blogengeezer.wordpress 'URL' it

Hmmm... I'd prefer the hydrogen powered ENV, but that extra 12 MPH top speed makes it a lot more useful...

I saw it at the Alt Car show in Santa Monica a couple of months ago. The Vectrix is one hell of a sweet electric scooter!
