Thanks. That's genius. Simple, understandable and effective.

jump to top Alvin says:

hahaa
brilliant!

jump to top Andrew says:

Took me a while to get it. Very nice indeed =].

jump to top SSD says:

LOL, great spot! I´ve never seen it here in Germany, though, in spite of their cooperation with the German ministry of environment...

Greets, Jo

jump to top Joachim says:

Really great ad, was totally off on what I thought it would be. Is the guy wearing a face mask..something about his face is off. Great ad anyways - would love to see more types of 'these' (no spoilers here) put around the world as an alternative to power plants...they look so much nicer as well then a gray cement power station.

i don't get it, what's it trying to show?

jump to top evolution says:

that was nice... had a feeling i knew what would happen, was wondering why no one noticed him

jump to top DLee says:

I'm affraid I don't get it. ???

jump to top SewerRaccoon says:

Takes too long to get to the point, but pretty good.

jump to top Barry McKawkiner says:

Just got it... He is the WIND !!

jump to top Anonymous says:

The fact that nobody looked at him clued me in about halfway through, so I can brag about catching on before the end.

But that actor ... whew. What a face!

jump to top Hank Fox says:

wth this was rly dumb.
totally predictable and useless.

jump to top jack says:

For those who do not get it:

The man IS the wind... you know, he blows the skirts up, messes your hair... :)

jump to top Liv says:

clever, but it takes too long to present the message. It needs more cowbell.

jump to top Anonymous says:

Just posting a no spoiler comment so that it doesn't show a spoiler in the excerpt on the frontpage.

jump to top Anonymous says:

More cowbell ROTFLMAO!

The Dumbest thing I ever saw...Not funny at all.

jump to top Anonymous says:

Too long? Yawn? Maybe it's time for you to take that Ritalin... what an instant gratification people we can become.

Brilliant advert. Length was perfect. I'm sure the director(s) knew the audience would itch to know who is that character. And timing the scratch is just oh so important. Like a good tease. Gues s you don't like a good tease.

jump to top Jack Ian Lin says:

great, beautifull giant energy potential ad, but where did they find such a giant???

jump to top Susan K says:

really cool

jump to top Anonymous says:

eh - I got it in the first ten seconds.
Nice idea though.

jump to top Anonymous says:

wow, what a bunch of idiots. This commercial was outstanding!

I guessed what he was when it got to the umbrella bit. It was pure brilliance. It amazes me how you people react to things.

"OH GOD! its more than 28seconds long and doesnt have shitty top 40 music playing with an anorexic airhead giggling out a line or two! heaven for bid!"

cripes.

jump to top Doug says:

Good Ad.
But no points for creativity.
The whole thing seems "inspired" from Forrest Gump opening scene. Even the music sounds so similar...

jump to top AncatDubher says:

Took me three views to understand what it was all about! Then I thought it was pure genius! Great stuff!

jump to top Miguel says:

Brilliant! Too bad others don't get it. But then that's the trouble with alternative fuel- too many people still don't get it.

jump to top J says:

guess it's the sailor in me, but i never really found the wind that annoying ti begin with. didn't like it.

jump to top megoneill says:

i saw this a couple days ago and thought it was crap. then i saw it again today, yeah it is good.

jump to top Anonymous says:

Excellent advertising. Someone should be promoted for this.

jump to top Roger says:

great commercial like a little movie-i think the guy is a digital simulation - or not?

jump to top Anonymous says:

Yeah i guessed it when he messed up the woman's hair on the stairs.

jump to top cole says:

I noticed that a lot of the people were passing "the wind" in this but didn't even notice. I got that much out of it at least.

I will make sure I am more concious of "passing the wind" now though, especially in public, by golly.

Just kidding. It was interesting to say the least and did prove a point..

The answer is blowin' in the wind.

jump to top Vee says:

For those who don't understand, the German in this commercial represents wind. The people he is bothering don't see him as a person, but as the wind.
Personification has been used and the wind (German man) is sad because it has been upsetting others.
Then he said he was given a purpose one day (given the card by the man on the bench) and that is to produce energy
When wind (German man) does well, we do well. When we can harness energy from the wind, it puts it to good use.

great commercial!

jump to top maria says:

Was that Robby Kreiger who gave him the business card?
