Survey: Will Live Earth Hurt the Planet More than Help?

by Lloyd Alter, Toronto on 07. 6.07

"When it comes to rock shows for environmentalism, should we be championing public awareness over carbon burden?" Bob Geldof takes a European view: "I hope they're a success. But why is Gore actually organizing them? To make us aware of the greenhouse effect? Everybody's known about that problem for years." but that certainly isn't the North American position.
