Recycling meets Cute Overload
by Lloyd Alter, Toronto on 07.21.07

Finally after all these years I might get a picture up on Cute Overload. I mean, who could resist those baleful eyes staring at you, making you ask "how much is that discarded Japanese kitchenware (spoons, kettles, cups etc) recycled into that doggie in the window?"

"the one with the waggley tail?"

"How much is that doggie in the window? (arf! arf!)"

"I do hope that doggie's for sale "::Tom.com via ::Splurch

I love these adorable creatures!
Does anyone know any websites for artists here in the states that do this? I've seen a few at crafts fairs, but can't recall any names. (The only one I've come up with online is : http://www.ecoartbytim.com, whose work is really nifty.)
Failing that, let us know when we can buy these -- they are the best I've seen.
Do you really think those crafts are adorable? It seems they give person a strange feeling, and sometime horrible although novel.Maybe the designer should design something not only novel but also cove the nature of human being which is comforable to us,not odd.more importantly,It should bring us convenient without adding any cost,of course, firstly should be green.
These really are cute! And very, very well done.
