Michael Iannone has been hard at work ever since we spied him on TreeHuggerTV last year, building a beautiful Kirei Signature Console for eco-enthusiast Kachina Myers' housewarming party (here's part one, part two and part three). In addition to changing the name of the company to Iannone:Design, just in time for ICFF, earlier this month, he's produced some new versions of old favorites and created some brand new designs that and further establish him as a thoughtful green designer, creating meaningful, functional, sustainable furniture. We like the modern, clean lines of new Green:Mod Midcentury Inlay version of the side board (pictured above), and the materials list isn't bad, either: Amber bamboo with bamboo inlay, bamboo plywood and FSC-certified plywood, finished with a low-VOC, water-based lacquer.
