I love my reel mower. It is quiet and easy to use. I don't know where the article is quoting the $200 price from. Mine was about $120 and the additional bag catcher (for the beginning of the year when the grass is really long) was about $30 including shipping.
I would highly recommend purchasing one. It makes the whole experience much more enjoyable from the loud experience I remember from being a kid. In fact it is so quiet sometimes I have to yell at my dog to move out of the way as he lounges while I mow.
