About the nitrogen issue...
From a quick Google search, it looks like the supposed benefits of filling your tires with nitrogen are far from clear-cut:

Basically, from what I gather, it appears that the benefit of filling with nitrogen boils down almost entirely to gas seeping out of your tires at a slightly slower rate, and that simply checking the pressure every so often is enough. So I probably wouldn't pay for it (unless you know you can't remember to check your tires), but if you get it for free, why not?
