Culture & Celebrity (audio video)

simran-int-h-001.jpgYou all probably already know Simran from TreeHugger TV and TreeHugger Radio or her appearances on Martha Stewart or Oprah Winfrey's Show. Well, Simran never stops! She was recently interviewed by Common Ground Magazine and by The Keeper (audio interview with a text summary on the site - but this interview is from December so some stats about TreeHugger are no longer up to date). Keep up the good work, sister!

Bravo Simran!

It's so exciting to have someone who is so plugged into the greening of the planet speaking from the Midwest. I live here (and actually own the only eco-fashion boutique in the Kansas City area) and we in the Midwest do care about the environment in a big way. But I think the country perceives us as not up-to-date. So, thanks to Ms Sethi for putting a spotlight on our little corner of the world!

HI Coutney,

I lived in Kansas City for one year (for my work) and then my company moved me back home to CA. I too own a sustainable business in Santa Monica and Venice where I live. During my year in Kansas City, MO I scoured the area and found nothing. May I ask what the name of your boutique is?

Kind Regards,
/Sandra

Let me try again...
Could anyone tell me what to do with my old light bulbs? They still work. I moved into a new apartment and of course am using the improved energy saving bulbs.

Thank you
