One Smart Cat: Public Transportation, Not Just for Humans Anymore

Bus drivers have nicknamed a white cat Macavity after it has started using the No 331 several mornings a week.

The feline, which has a purple collar, gets onto the busy Walsall to Wolverhampton bus at the same stop most mornings - he then jumps off at the next stop 400m down the road, near a fish and chip shop.

This story comes from The Daily Mail, a British tabloid, so the source is not the most reliable. But if you've ever seen something like this, let us know in the comments. See also: ::Videos: Baby Duck Feeding Carps, Cute Otters Holding Hands, ::Who Wants to Save the Aye-Aye

I've seen something equally as cool, and probably more reliable. I think I originally saw this on Discovery Channel or something, here it is on youtube. A Penguin Shopping for its owners.

Given the average felines' use of public transit is zero, this kitty is increasing its' carbon footprint while simultaneously proving that the words cat and lazy are synonyms, which is hardly news.
Not to mention the missed opportunity of following up with the fish and chips guy. Tabloids are really slipping these days.
