This Week on TreeHugger Radio: Coop America has designed a 12-step program for greener living and lightening the shadow of climate change. Joseph Romm, physicist and author of Hell and High Water, talks about how global warming begins as a political issue. Also, as Wal-Mart continues to profile itself as a green leader, the big-box giant’s vice president for corporate strategy and sustainability, Andy Ruben, hints at where it’s all headed. Listen for TreeHugger Radio week in the blogosphere on TreeHugger and in the iTunes podcast directory. Also toggle over to EcoTalk with Betsy Roserberg to hear TreeHugger Radio each Friday (listen here or right click to download):: TreeHugger Radio

I have received multiple entries for each program on your RSS feed for TREEHUGGER Radio-podcast. This comment is to inform of this.

14 for each podcast entry, if it is that you are editing the feed it might be a good idea to keep the same title for each entry, so it doesn't turn up as new entries.

The Wal-Mart we used to have in my town was solar powered and had recycled tire floors and an e-planet center for kids. They destroyed all that and all that's left is the only recycle center in town.

Once again, Treehugger exalts the virtues of Wal-Mart. In my humble opinion, stocking CFLs doesn't offset poor labor practices (discrimination, lacking health benefits, insensitivity toward surrounding communities), environmental abuse (consistent violation of environmental laws and regulations) and questionable political ties (lobbying and receiving billions in taxpayer subsidies, donating millions to conservatives who, in turn, legislate against the green agenda that this site is supposed to represent).
