Claiming a US Federal tax credit for a 2006-7 hybrid car purchase involves more than just checking a box. If you bought one last year, H&R Block is offering this link to get you started - at no charge. Be sure to scroll down to the tables, where you can see which model gets you the biggest deduction. I purchased a new Camry Hybrid on 8/16/06.
One of the on-line tax sites that I used to process my taxes, tells me that I am not eleigible for the $2,600 tax credit. Due to my AGI being over threshold possibly?
I s anyone else experiencing this problem?
