If the pre-packaged, monotonous gifting and "gag me" Hallmark cards around Valentine's Day has you ready to physically assault Cupid, CRAFT Magazine may be able to help. Their "Recycle Your Heart" Valentine's Day Card Contest invites you to make a DIY card that just oozes with your creativity and imminently lovable personality. To enter, you must craft your own Valentine's Day card, a portion of which must be made from recycled materials. A picture of your card must then make it to the CRAFT Flickr pool with the tag "craftvdaycontest" by 5pm this Friday, February 9th. Up for grabs to the winners is a CRAFT t-shirt, the last edition of CRAFT magazine, and a one-month subscription to The Sampler (which sends you samples from small, independant businesses). Happy craftings, and be sure to share your creative mojo with us - post a link to your recycled V-Day card in the comments!
