The Barenaked Ladies’ Steven Page drives off in his 2004 Toyota Prius hybrid, via the Star
We would not dream of trying to influence Collin's survey to determine the greenest playlist; we just want them to smack Coldplay. Thus we point out the Star's coverage of their upcoming tour, where they run their buses and trucks on biodiesel, saving 27,000 KG of CO2; buying offsets for the balance through associations with Zerofootprint and Bullfrog Power; recycling along the way; getting their meals on china instead of paper plates. "It is more expensive, but I think its worth it in the end. I think I would feel a lot more leery about getting on a bus if I felt there weren't options" [Stephen] Page says. I think I wouldn't do the touring we're doing if we weren't trying to take care of the good part." :;The Star read also Linda McAvoy's interview of Page, discussing his Prius.
