Honest Tea: Doing Business Differently

We were surprised to find that TreeHugger hasn't mentioned Honest Tea yet, although we just tried their “Just Black Tea” for ourselves not too long ago. Made with real tea leaves, Honest Tea is all-natural and certified organic from the USDA. “Doing Business Differently” is the company’s motto and we can see why. Honest Tea was the first company to create an organic bottled tea as well as Fair Trade Certified tea. They have developed revenue-sharing partnerships with supplier communities in South Africa, India and the Crow Reservation in Montana. A portion of their sales have gone to non-profits such as Pretty Shield Foundation for at-risk native American youth and City Year, an AmeriCorps program that unites diverse young people with communities in need. With 18 varieties of bottled iced tea, there’s surely one for every taste. Next on our list: “Green Dragon Tea,” a blend of organic green tea and passion fruit. ::Honest Tea

I didn't care for the Green Dragon Tea, but I don't like tea.

"We were surprised to find that TreeHugger hasn't mentioned Honest Tea yet," ... that's only because Wal-mart doesn't it sell it.
