coffeegrinder.jpgIt’s been awhile since we brought you the latest in hand-crank gadgets. We’ve featured Sony’s radio, a travel blender, an ice cream maker and an LED flashlight, to name a few. Now we’re bringing you a hand-crank coffee grinder and although we’ve mentioned one before, this one is made especially for traveling. This small grinder is lightweight and durable and is a perfect thing to throw in your backpack for those early mornings in the great outdoors. You can take the larger model along when car camping and RVing but it’s also a nice addition to your home kitchen. Small model is $18, large is $22. Available at ::RusTek

It just makes you think what happens when you have no electric and although I love gadgets and work all day on a pc, I also love to see things like this hand crank coffee grinder for when you are on the move or without electric.

Yes! Thank you Treehugger gods! I've been wishing the universe included something exactly like this for a while now. I like to grind my flax seeds (for it's brain lubricating Omega 3 fats) and oatmeal to make oat flower. My little hand cranked food processor (a.k.a., the as-seen-on-tv "salsa maker") just doesn't cut it for hard stuff.

So I will be ordering one of these asap. Yay!
