Seen in New York: Marithé + François Girbaud; Brand With A Message

During the summer of 2006 the front window of the Marithé + François Girbaud boutique in SoHo contained a message designed to make you stop and think twice. More after the jump.
It read:
MOTHER NATURE WILL BLOW US TO OBLIVION RIP OUR CLOTHES TO SHREDS AND LEAVE US STANDING IN A MUDDLE OF ARROGANCE AS WE KEEP ON FORCE FEEDING HER WITH TOXIC DELUGES OF OUR WASTE
As of yet it is unclear if the production of this French, upscale brand is eco-friendly in some way. But we suspect it might be... Stay tuned. :: Marithé + François Girbaud
