Design 21 Competitions Get Extended

Under a banner that reads "You asked. We listened. The competition deadlines have been extended so please note the new closing dates for each, and good luck with your entries!," the Design 21 Social Design Network has announced that you can now enjoy your holidays and pull your energy and brilliance together in the new year for your award winning submittal. For TreeHuggers that were interested in the competition after seeing the post Design 21 Competitions Get Real, please note the deadlines are now:
- a winning educational campaign about global warming: 18 Feb 2007
- an affordable toy designed to cultivate imagination and creativity: 18 Mar 2007; and
- an effective temporary shelter for emergency situations: 22 Apr 2007.
The competitions offer $10,000 prize money for first, second, third place designs and an audience-pleaser award. Public voting opens one day after the deadline for entries in each category.
