What, no ebook edition? How much CO2 was generated to produce all these nice paper books and deliver them to the customers?
laurie david is a joke ... 'the solution is you indeed' ... her footprint is enormous ... she refuses to answer specific questions on how big her carbon-ass is and how she might keep it trim ... this book just adds more GHG's to her piles ... it should be a biog of her struggle to fight her enormous carbon appetite and how she actually shed tonnes of carbon flab ... maybe oprah will approach it that way

This is getting tiring.
Who ever said that we should all live barefoot in the woods? Books about global warming are pretty low on the list of things to eliminate to make the world better.
Lets keep perspective on things. we can have a thriving and innovative culture full of books, computers and such AND be green.
Not to mention that the book was probably made as green as most of these types of books (recycled content, wind power used, offsets, no chlorine bleach, whatever).
