Video of ENV Fuel Cell Motorcycle in Action

We've mentioned the ENV fuel cell motorbike before (twice, actually), and now there's a video of it in action. The Discovery Channel takes it for a test drive, and is pretty impressed with the results: great acceleration, suitably fast for almost any road (minus the highway) and cheap to operate; $3 worth of hydrogen will get you about 4 hours of continuous use. Therein lies the caveat: the infrastructure does not yet exist for many people to get the necessary hydrogen fuel to make the fuel cell go. Bike developer Intelligent Energy is banking on the fuel to catch up soon; they plan to have it available for sale, for about $6,000, within the next two years. ::YouTube via ::AutoblogGreen
