Corrugated Cardboard Laptop Case

Inhabitat encountered Giles Miller’s unique Corrugated Cardboard Laptop Case at London’s [re]Design exhibit this fall.

The sturdy case uses 100% recycled cardboard, and the fluting gives its wearer the option to personalize it with custom designs such as one’s initials (or an apple logo — as shown here).

Hmmm. A nice idea but what happens when it rains? Cardboard is not noted for its wet strength.
100%...plus leather carrying strap and metal studs? Or are those cardboard too?
I think the cardboard would be better recyled as cardboard and that vinyl strap looks anything but green. How about an organic cotton or hemp canvas bag? Repels water and would last a long, long time.
Very impressive design. I think maybe others should read first. It says 100% recycled CARDBOARD! Not 100% recycled everything.
a nice idea but i think the price is too big
