It's been awhile since we've mentioned An Inconvenient Truth, but we can't resist spreading the word about the documentary coming to DVD. The film that wowed 'em at Sundance, inspired Roger Ebert and outdid some of Hollywood's summer blockbusters will be available on DVD on November 21, in plenty of time to stuff many a stocking over the holidays (what? You haven't seen it yet? Get thee to a theater, post haste, and for goodness sake, walk home). The DVD version will be presented in Widescreen with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround and English 2.0 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles, and includes a new interview with Al Gore, audio commentary by director Davis Guggenheim, audio commentary by producers Lawrence Bender, Scott Burns, Laurie David and Lesley Chilcott and Melissa Etheridge's music video for "I Need to Wake Up." "I'm excited about the documentary's release on DVD," said Gore. "The DVD is a vital way for us to continue the conversation about global warming with even more Americans. As more and more people understand what's at stake, they become a part of the solution, and share both in the challenges and opportunities presented by the climate crisis." We know what everyone we know is getting for Christmas. ::An Inconvenient Truth via ::CSRwire

any info yet on where the proceeds will go to?

I don't have much details yet, but Gore said in many interviews that the money from the film and book will go to a non-partisan foundation with the goal to educate the public about global warming. I also remember that Gore will not actually run that foundation.

Does anybody have more details?
