Wondering where to get your vintage amidst LA's vast retail expanse this fall? City Beat's Kendra Gilbert sifts through Melrose shops and beyond, sorting the keepers from the places you're likely to exit empty handed. Before you go, get some sage wisdom from Hootie Couture vintage veteran Alison Houtte, and perhaps grab a copy of Bust's Fall Fashion issue so you can learn how to alter that "almost" fit to perfection. :: Voyage Into Vintage, via Google News

Kyeann! When did you officially switch to "Nomad" status? Cute :)
:) I believe it was in June. After Paris and somewhere between New York, San Francisco, LA, and Montana, I realized that I couldn't keep filling in a new location every few weeks, and that sort of officially much made me a nomad.
Happy vintage shopping!

Right on with vintage clothing! I just went to True Value Vintage in Vancouver, BC and got this amazing retro dress for only $40! It's so gorgeous and fits like a glove! As for my old clothes, I'm selling them on ebay and using the money on recycled clothes or vintage, definetely helps the Earth! Everybody should start very soon!
