Want to be in the know on the most current solar technology? The 21st European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition will be held in Dresden, Germany from September 4-8. Last year, more than 2000 attendees from 76 countries walked the exhibition halls of the 20th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Barcelona. Some 270 exhibitors showcased their services and wares—including wafers, solar cells, PV modules, concentrators and trackers—over 9000 square meters of exhibition space. This year is prepped to be bigger and better. “In worldwide comparison, Germany is the biggest photovoltaics market…we are expecting Germany to provide impetus for other countries," says Winfried Hoffmann, president of the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, chief representative of SCHOTT Solar and a member of the conference executive committee.
