Stoller Vineyards: First American LEED Certified Winery

Let's be polite and describe the architecture as "vernacular" and not mention our preference for the design of the first LEED winery in North America. This is, after all, the first in the USA, and comes complete with a solar roof, cooling catacombs and gravity flow design. “Earning LEED certification is a great example of why Stoller Vineyards is a winery that both its community and its customers can be proud of,” said Rick Fedrizzi, President, CEO, Founding Chair, U.S. Green Building Council. “Stoller Vineyard will be a showcase for high-performance, energy-efficient, healthy wineries, and an inspiration for others.”
