Emmanuelle Chriqui: Eco-Celeb In The Making?

The up-and-coming Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui was recently spotted at "Green Experience Day," a Children's Health Environmental Coalition event in Brentwood, CA. Is this news you ask? Perhaps not yet, but sources say she's one to watch in the Hollywood scene (catch her on Entourage) and considering that she's also played a part in Global Green Oscar events - she could be one of our next favorite eco-celebs. Lil Peppi is an 8 year old who is really passionate about doing his small part to bring attention to what he sees as a big concern for his generation; preservation of the planet. Like a lot of children, he has a fear the planet will be worse off, when he is an adult. He feels like the older generation has ignored global warming and destruction of the rain forests.
The movie "Happy Feet" along with the "Crying Indian" campaign from the 70's was a big influence on Peppi wanting to do something. Since he was into making music, he decided to do a song called "Mother Nature's Crying". We also did a simple, low budget, homemade video to give the song a visual effect.
He loves Hip Hop music and feels like this is his chance to do something good through his music. I'm happy he is focused on the planet and not how much "bling" he can accumulate. Below is the link if you would like to listen to the song and see the video.

Thanks again and have a great day!
