Loomstate's Sure Shot Hoodie

When it comes to TreeHugger clothing, we're not sure it gets any better than Loomstate, so we're happy to add their Sure Shot Hoodie to a head-to-toe Loomstate ensemble that already includes shoes and jeans. Just like the rest of their foxy apparel, the hoodie is stitched with 100% organic cotton; they've added their signature character to it with an eagle print on the back, oversized cuffs and just enough edge to give it a leg up on your standard sweatshirt. Available in green (blue eagle) or black (red eagle), available at eLuxury.com, via ::Product Dose

pretty slick, but $145 is ri-goddamn-diculous. you know what's even greener and hipper than loomstate? the ubiquitous zip-up hoodies that line just about any thrift shop. just add fabric stencil.

Or you could buy a very similar organic cotton hoodie from MEC.CA for $30CDN and slap whatever silkscreen you like on it... :)

I have to agree with the other posts. As green as it is, I would never pay $145 for a hoody. I mean, I am used to paying a bit more for organic green products, but that's so far out of my price range it's ridiculous.

I'm with Ben; I'm absolutely in love with that hoodie, and I was willing to shell out for it, but damn, $145 is way way WAY too much to pay for a hoodie, even if it is organic cotton and handmade and amazingly green.

Maybe I'll find a nice black hoodie and put my own bird on the back. :(

Hey fashion favors the first-out-with-it thinkers and producers. If I had $145 to spend on an organic cotton hoodie, I would buy this one! Sure you can get a second-hand one and add your own stencil, but Loomstate gave you the idea, right? So be nice. Encourage movie stars and other rich people to BUY them, pose wearing them, and chat up the green angle....I'd rather support audacious young apparel designers than audacious young Wall Street hoodlums any day!
