10th Annual Webby Award - Winners
by Michael Graham Richard, Gatineau, Canada on 05.10.06

The winners of the 10th annual Webby Awards have been announced yesterday, May 9th. First we'd like to thank everybody who supported us (not only for the Webby, but for the Bloggies and the Feedster Feed of the Year Award), we really appreciate it! And, of course, we'd like to congratulate the winners in the "Blog - Culture/Personal" category, CuteOverload and We Make Money Not Art for the People's Voice Award and Webby Award respectively. According to Technorati, there are currently 38.8 million blogs on the internet. To win against such competition is remarkable. And in the "Magazine" category, our friends at Grist won a People's Voice Award. Once again, congrats!

The Webbys are a scam. They nominate the entire blogsphere just to get the $250 registration fee. This year they even extended the registration period to try to make more money.
