Personally, I mooch. My parents own. At school I have a dorm room.
I don't really understand the options for this quiz. I would select 'own' because I keep it at my house (a combination of closets, garage, and storage shed). I think 'rent' means renting one of those storage units?
I think the question is do you own your mortal coil or are you but renting from future generations.
I'd like to own once I can afford to go off grid. Until then, cheap-ass rent-controlled apartment that I can walk everywhere from.
We rent in the city, but we also own some land in the country. We are packrats so that when we finally move out into the country, and build a home on our land, we'll have plenty of materials saved up (free from the plentiful urban trash, freecycle, or cheap from yard sales and store closeout sales) that we won't need to buy much new stuff.
I rent an apartment.
