Sometimes we can get a little earnest with this ’save the world stuff’. Times comes now and then when should we lighten up and take our mission less seriously. Be a tad more playful. Let’s make this one of those. The Green Dollhouse Exhibit has been running in California, but is due to be shown in New York in June this year. The model houses entered had to pass two rules: had to work as a real dollhouse for kids to play with, and had to inspire kids adults to create greener homes. Links to useful referencesare offered to help push such ideas along. One of the dollhouses even had one of our favs — a green roof! The one shown here is a prefab dollhouse by four architects interested in affordable urban housing. ::Green Doll House.

Good lord, I had no idea there were more like me: tree-hugging hippies with dorky-ass hobbies. I have been wondering how to rig my dollhouse with solar roof panels. Thanks for the link, Joseph. That thing is a granola-baby's dream!
