I'm glad to see this won! I bought some bags from Bio-Bags, but I had this thought. If someone doesn't actually compost (which most people don't) and just sits in a landfill, does this product actually come out ahead of regular plastic bags? I figured at least if it was made from cornstarch, that was a big step in the right direction. But I wondered if anyone had the data on how these are better if they are not composted.
