Episode 4 in our search for the most extravagant and silly marketing, packaging and transport of water.
How did we miss ths? Introduced for Valentines day, Au le Cadeau comes in a "12 oz. glass container resembling the Eiffel Tower. "au," the symbol for gold has a significance to the name, "au Le Cadeau," because the water is laden with a multitude of minerals as such as colloidal gold." The company says that while gold is often thought of as a precious metal, many of its medicinal properties have long been forgotten. It seems that ancient cultures of the past consumed gold as an elixir, and these cultures used gold in ceremonies to access a higher state of consciousness. :: au le cadeau via ::strange new products
