With booming international demand, and sales doubling in the U.S. in each of the past two years, hemp foods and cosmetics are among the hottest categories in the natural products marketplace. Manitoba Harvest, one of the largest manufacturer of hemp food, has announced a new "Fresh Organic Hemp Service" which is designed to provide easy access to bulk quantities of Organic Hemp Seed Nut, Organic Hemp Seed Oil and Organic Hemp Protein Powder. To keep up with demand for organic hemp, Manitoba Harvest and their partners have increased their hemp seed acreage by 500% for the 2006 season. :: Via NPI Center

Wouldn't it be nice if they invested some of that profit back into the development of hemp protein powder isolate? Because right now what passes for hemp protein powder on store shelves is nothing more than rarified flour.
