Attention sustainable designers: HauteGREEN 2006 is coming to Brooklyn, and they want your submissions. The event, held during the 2006 International Contemporary Furniture Fair (May 20-26), will present a curated collection of the best in sustainable contemporary design, including furniture, lighting, and accessories. Each submission will be judged on aesthetics and sustainability, with criteria ranging from materials to manufacture to transport, use and more (full disclosure: Graham Hill, TreeHugger's intrepid founder and leader, is one of the event curators). Submissions must be received by Friday, April 7, 2006, and there is no entry fee. All the details, including a full list of sustainability criteria and the submission form, are available at the HauteGREEN website. Good luck! ::HauteGREEN
