Strange Waters #2: Skinny Water
by Lloyd Alter, Toronto on 02.28.06
As we continue diving into strange waters we present Skinny Water- Croatian artesian water fortified with hydroxycitric acid or Super Citrimax, which is " Derived from the South Asian fruit Garcinia Cambogia, the CitriMax® family contains standardized levels of HCA. This all-natural, organic acid has been shown to reduce appetite and inhibit fat synthesis without affecting the central nervous system." Evidently if you drink 1 bottle four times a day half an hour before meals you will feel less hungry. Funny, we find that if we drink regular water before a meal the same thing happens. ::Skinny Water via ::Strange New Products

These waters you keep trying are getting better and better!
Fundamentally, the only way these waters can make you feel better is surely just from the warm glow of smugness you feel with that label on your desk! I know the bottles of (I think it's) volvic here in the UK aim at just that - they have a message along the lines of "pop this funky bottle on your desk and let everyone know how healthy you are"
IT'S JUST WATER!!!
jana is croatian spring water from really deep well, carbon dated to be thousands of years old; it has distinct "silky" feel while drinking compared to some other waters; flavoured versions are great as well
This isn't treehugger.
This water sounds incredible, they haven't even mentioned is ability to shave inches off your wallet line. Lets see here, If my math works out $1.66 X 4 bottles a day X 7 days = $46.68 in a week. Multiply that by 52 weeks in a year $2416.96
Wow that would really take the weight off. Now, if you are lugging all those bottles back to your recycling center, by human power of course, you could really drop the weight. Great idea Skinny Water
