Solar Chargers on the Red Carpet on Oscar Night

Universal Communications, the parent company of Solar Style announced last week that it had donated 40 of its SC003 chargers for celebs to saunter down the red carpet with at this weekend's Academy Awards gala in Hollywood. The chargers are being facilitated by the S.W.A.G.G. (Sustainability, Wellness and Green Gifts) program that also gives celebs the option of pulling up to the red carpet in a clean-burning alternative-fuel limo. Past program participants with S.W.A.G.G. have included some familiar celebrity names around here: Cameron Diaz, Charlize Theron, Harrison Ford, Don Cheadle, Kirsten Dunst and Jack Black.
