Testing, Testing: Tilo Natural Flooring

It is nice when a product is called green or organic; It is nicer when there is third party testing. It is remarkable to see testing for "radioactivity, microbiological effects, formaldehyde, biocides, halogenised pesticides, heavy metals, the release of fine dust, electrostatic behaviour, electrical and magnetic fields, water vapour penetration and reaction to heat". That is the seal of approval from Germany's Institut for Building Biology (IBR). Austria's Tilo Flooring has been through this mill and passed. This engineered floor is available in a range of sustainable woods, bamboo, cork and linoleum. It is finished with natural oils or a formaldehyde-free varnish, and is not nearly as expensive as we expected. ::Tilo Natural Flooring via ::ecospace
