Lori and Kevin remain my heroes-(read about their last escapade here) Kids who want to take back the city and have a good time. Tonight people are dressing up as knights, elves, and sundry other mythical creatures and riding the streetcars of Toronto. Smoking and alcohol not allowed- they celebrate the city and the event, and party after. Why do I go on about this? As the National Post headline today said, "Reclaim the City, One Party at a Time" - the key to successful sustainability is having a safe, vibrant urban culture. Lori and Kevin continue to be an inspiration. ::Newmindspace

This is neat. This has happened in other cities. Last year, the NY Times had an article about parties in the "last train" car of the BART subway in the San Francisco Bay area. And of course, there are many examples of public transit being used as transportation during pub crawls in many cities.
