Natural Body Spa & Shoppe

After I finished clicking through the beautifully designed web site for the Natural Body Spa & Shoppe, I nearly packed my bags and headed for Georgia (or TN, or NC, or MD, or VA or FL…). It is the place that I imagine when I'm daydreaming of the perfect pampering retreat. The products they use are those earth-friendly varieties that make an eco-chick (or lad) swoon: Jurlique, Naturopathica, Erbaviva, Aveda, and many more. But that's not all, NBS&S is way green…
The spa chain hosts a drop-off station for used cells, PDAs and other small electronics which are then picked up by the Earth Share program for reuse and recycling. Design and décor incorporate reclaimed wood and other materials like used tires. They also do their printing on recycled paper with soy ink and have partnered with other organic advocates in the region to promote sustainable agriculture. I have it on good authority that this place is the real deal and that founder Cici Coffee is deeply committed to the environment and to being a leader in encouraging the spa industry to follow the Natural Body Spa & Shoppe example.
Anyone care to join me for a Naturopathica Bamboo Lemongrass Body Scrub?
