Living Homes: Modern Green Prefab

We have talked about Living Homes before; this very green prefab design is taking shape in LA, an important event given how long it takes to get prefab projects off the ground. You can view construction in progress at their site- the foundations on the final site, the frame at the factory. What we like: FSC Lumber. Formaldehyde free. Photovoltaics. Green roof. What we don't: too big, but they know their market and it isn't starving treehuggers. ::Living Homes
We note also the snow and icicles in the picture. In LA. We keep saying that weather patterns are getting crazy.
