Further to our earlier post on Nikon, we note that Konica/Minolta is discontinuing manufacture of film and digital cameras. "In today's era of digital cameras... it became difficult to timely provide competitive products even with our top optical, mechanical and electronics technologies," the company said. They are stopping film production too- soon, even if you want to use your old camera you will probably have trouble finding film for it. ::Physorg
