“An organic property trading game that will grow on you!” That’s the description of Gardenolopy, a board game similar to Monopoly, where different breeds of plants are used instead of properties (poison ivy replaces Mediterranean Ave. and orchids replace Boardwalk), you build flower gardens (with clay pots and greenhouses instead of houses and hotels) and the game pieces are a wheelbarrow, ladybug and gardening clog, to name a few (instead of a car, a dog and a shoe). This game has gotten great ratings from people who’ve played it, but keep in mind the rules are slightly different from Monopoly because it’s not directly licensed from Hasbro. A great learning tool for ages 8 and up. $24.95 Available at ::Boardgames.com Via ::Amazon
