Catwalk Through The Gardens Eco-Fashion Show

I remember the days when you'd be about as likely to find a fashion show at an environmental event as you would to find soymilk at Safeway. But this weekend, in lovely San Diego, TreeHuggers can sip a soy latte while enjoying Catwalk Through the Gardens at the Green Guide's Festival of Life. The show will feature some of our favorite names in sustainable clothing, including: EDUN, Loomstate, Deborah Lindquist, and SalvationSacks. After you're done gazing at the gorgeous garments, you can wander over to a mini-spa station to enjoy a massage or enjoy a delicious treat created by San Diego Slow Food's Gordon Smith. Not to be missed is the "Inside a Green Home" exhibit featuring demonstrations of sustainable remodeling and decorating ideas. Saturday January, 21st at Quail Botanical Gardens.
