The TH Week: Eco-Bookworming
by Dominic Muren, Philadelphia, USA on 12.23.05

This week was a boon for book loving treehuggers everywhere. Remember, when you pick up these beauties, try to buy used or second hand for an extra green boost. So grab up some of this reading list and make sure your bookworm is green.
:: Kyeann turned us on to Vickery stationary, for those of you looking to fill an eco-journal of your own.
:: Lloyd recommends The Walrus article on the recent oil free progress of Iceland.
:: John reviewed Daniel Quinn's Tales of Adam, and gives it 5 stars.
:: Lloyd slips us some last minute Christmas book advice.
:: Michael suggests a great concept for increasing reading greenly with an office lending library.

Reading green is easy. I buy books from library sales, second hand bookstores, garage sales. You know, all the usual venues. Thing is there is so much absolutely stellar content which nobody, nobody, NOBODY bothers reading because... it's old. Why pay $30 for a paperback with a fancy cover? Get a forgotten classic for $1 at your library book sale and buy a Chip Kidd coffee table book to satisfy your book cover fetish.
