Action for Nature, a non-profit based in San Francisco, believes in encouraging young people to take personal action to nurture and help protect our environment. Their annual Young Eco-Award is given to recognize 8 to 16 year olds worldwide who have achieved individual environmental success and who have influenced others. The deadline this year is February 28, 2006 and cash prizes up to $500 will be rewarded. Are you an Eco-Hero or do you know someone?
