petpod.jpgThis Pet Pod is a living accommodation for cats of all sizes or for small dogs. The dome is hand-sculpted from recycled, biodegradable newspaper pulp. Despite, being made from a paper byproduct, it is reportedly sturdy and durable. The walls range from 1" in thickness towards the base to 0.25" in thickness at the very top. Comes with a round cushion which can be removed for washing by lifting the dome. Priced at $275. :: Postmodern Pets

I like the idea, but why does such a thing have to cost $275? The price appears outrageously high.

sooo cheap. i can't believe the price. after all it's made with pulped newsprint right? that is pretty costly.
