After reading our post on the Scratchy Box for cats, a reader tipped us off to WorldWise. This company makes a range of cat toys using recycled materials, organic catnip. We like the SmartyKat WildStreak Wand and the BungeeBuddy. Great use of recycled materials. The toys are designed so that the catnip can be refilled easily. :: WorldWise

Organic catnip? Because we don't eat cats; and because catnip is not eaten by people, except as a flavoring in Horehound candy, and also is seldom eaten by cats (usually just sniffed and rolled in) this sounds lke "meow washing". Noteably, catnip (Nepeta cateria) is an a fairly invasive weed in much of the US. I'm constantly pulling it from my border plantings and vegetable garden and can't imagine ever having to spend any money on it.
My cat likes to use organic toys-like birds.
