New Tankless Water Heater Uses Microwaves

A company based in Canada, Pulsar Advanced Technologies, is set to release the Vulcanus MK4, a water heater that uses microwave technology to heat water on demand. The press release states that the Vulcanus MK4 can heat water from 35 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit in seconds and can source multiple applications at once: showers, dishwasher, sink usages and more. Stereo speakers come in many sizes, just how large is this?
What is it's power usage in realtion to other on demand electric systems?
(was there ever any truth to the notion that micrwaves turn good water into bad?)
I wonder how much electricity this thing uses while in operation?
I have a gas powered tankless and it cut my gas bill in half during summer months. It does have less draw then I like, only two things can draw hot water at once. So if the dishwasher and washing machine are on dont try to take a shower. All in all I was glad to get it, though two installers had no idea what it even was.
I'd imagine that this would NOT be greener than a gas or electric model. Microwaves use a ton of energy. The microwaves would probably heat the water really quickly, so you can probably heat more water this way. A current tankless heats 5 GPM of water, does a treehugger need much more than this?
If you want to go green, how about if you use solar hot water heating, and then you can have a gas or propane tankless water heater for backup (propane if you live in a rural area)?
I am iterestig to get one of this tankles waterheater using microwave tech.
