While we are generally unflinching in our support of solar-powered gizmos, we also like innovative, alternative energy solutions to solving problems. Enter the Shake-U-Lator Calculator. With 20-25 shakes, you've got a good 10 minutes or so of calculating power and a fun little exercise to boot. Employing Faraday’s Principle of Electromagnetic Energy, you can see the energy creation in action though the visible chamber as the magnet slides through the copper coil.
